in watercolour by Philip Davies

Philip Davies is a native of Swansea, born and
educated here. He studied at Swansea College
of Art and University College Cardiff. In 1992,
after a career in graphic design, he established
his present business which deals in picture
restoration, framing, and valuation for insurance
and probate. Since 1995 he has sold his own
work through joint and one-man exhibitions in
Wales and Ireland and is a member both of the
Watercolour Society of Wales and the
Watercolour Society of Ireland. He paints in
watercolour and oils and subjects are taken
mainly from Wales, Ireland and France. His
paintings have been selected for exhibition by
the Royal Watercolour Society, Royal Society of
British Artists, Royal Society of Marine Artists
and the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin.
